Anyone who attends the camp out can be a volunteer. There are a lot of things that need to be taken care of over the weekend. The campers often pitch in to help. There are five meals to prepare, serve and clean up after. If you are good in the kitchen, your help is more than welcome.

TentIf you are good at figuring out “puzzles,” you may want to use your skills by helping some people put up their tents. This is always a challenge to many. It may be a new tent, a borrowed one or one that has not been used for years. If you know how to put them together and take them down it is easy—if the camper does not know how, it can be a nightmare!

Volunteer nurses are always welcome.

Our volunteer recruiter is Elmer King. Please contact him if you have any questions about volunteering.

We've put together a Volunteer Sign Up sheet, which is part of the application package you can download. The form lets you check off items you wish to volunteer to do during the camp out. Please be sure to add any item you can do which we might not have included on the form!

Volunteers who arrive on Thursday are expected to pitch in and help get the campground ready. Those staying late Sunday are expected to help clean up the campground after the camp out.
